In this way of specification, color is specified by Hue, Saturation and Lightness.

Hue is a degree on the color wheel which ranges 0-360. Red=0,Green= 120, Blue=240.

Saturation is intensity of color and is a percentage value where 0%- shade of gray,100%-full color.

Lightness is amount of light provided in the color and is a percentage value where 0%-black, 50%- neither black nor light, 100%- white.
